Your income must be at or below 185% of the federal poverty guidelines. The income limits are higher than you may think! A family of four can make over $37,000 a year and still join WIC. It all depends on your yearly income and the number of people in your household. You must provide proof of your income to your local WIC office.

If a family member takes part in the National School Lunch Program, Medicaid, TANF or the Family Access to Medical Insurance Security Plan (FAMIS), you might already qualify financially.
