The Health Department's Environmental Health Division is located on the 2nd floor of the Smith-Wagner Building, located at 9501 Lucy Corr Circle, Chesterfield, VA, 23832

    The Environmental Health section of the Chesterfield Health Department offers services for the following:

Restaurant Inspections and Permitting

  • Permits are required
  • Application Fees - effective July 1, 2011

Temporary Food Permit $40 Annual Permit Fee
  • Includes schools, restaurants and seasonal restaurants, temporary and mobile restaurants, child care centers, summer camps, adult homes and nursing homes
  • Food Mangers' Certification (Serv-Safe) Three-Day Course
    • Must attend all three days.  Courses are offered in English, Spanish and Chinese.  Call 748-1610 for information and schedule of classes.
  • Food Safety for Youth Activities Course
Rabies Prevention
  • Animal Bite Investigation / Management
  • Specimen Testing
  • Rabies Vaccination Clinics
Well and Septic Information
  • Permitting (Well and Septic)
  • Application Fees - effective July 1, 2010
