Current Funding Opportunities

DDP has issued an RFP for the Secretary’s Minority AIDS Initiative for Care and Prevention in the United States (CAPUS) grant program for the delivery of HIV counseling and testing in areas that are both high minority and high poverty, where testing services are currently limited. Services shall be targeted to Blacks and Latinos with an emphasis on individuals with increased risk for infections including men who have sex with men (MSM), injection drug users (IDU), persons with combined MSM/IDU risk, persons who trade sex for drugs/money (sex workers), transgender persons, non-IDU substance users, the sexual partners of these populations, and high-risk heterosexuals. Proposals are due by 3:00 p.m. August 29, 2013. Programmatic questions about the CAPUS program should be directed to Bryan Collins at Bryan.Collins@vdh.virginia.gov or 804-864-7945.
