Report Types

Public Health Assessment (PHA) - An ATSDR certified document that examines hazardous substances, health outcomes, and community concerns at a particular hazardous waste site. A PHA helps to determine the possible health effects related to site contamination. PHA also includes actions to protect public health.

Health Consultation (HC) - A review of available information or collection of new data to respond to a specific health question or request for information about a potentional environmental hazard. health consultations are focused on a specific exposure issue and are generally more limited in scope than a public health assessment.

Letter of Helath Consultation (LHC) - A document that is similar to a HC but is addressed to a specific individual, agency, or organization.
