Members of Virginia’s Medevac community were invited by the Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) and the State Medevac Committee to participate in summit meetings and strategic planning sessions in October of 2008 and January of 2009. The primary intent of these sessions were to help establish a clear vision for a Medevac system in Virginia and to identify initial strategies for achieving that vision. The reports below provide a summary of the significant accomplishments that were achieved.
