Back to School Immunizations

Avoid the lines and act now!
Peninsula Health District will be offering back-to-school immunizations an additional day of service and extended hours at the Peninsula Health Center and at the Greater Williamsburg Area office.

Required Vaccines for school aged children will be provided on a walk-in basis.

Friday August, 29, 2014 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday September 2, 2014 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday September 3, 2014 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.

Greater Williamsburg Area Office, 4095 Ironbound Road Suite 200, Williamsburg

Friday August 29, 2014 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday September 02, 2014 1:00 pm - 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday September 03, 2014 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

To ensure that the child is appropriately immunized, parents are asked to bring their child's immunization record. Required immunizations for school are free, but insurance will be billed for allowable charges.

The Peninsula Health District offers the following immunization services on a walk-in basis:

  • Free childhood immunizations
  • Adult immunizations
  • Influenza vaccine
  • College immunizations
  • Influenza, pneumonia, and all adult booster vaccines
  • Tuberculosis (TB) assessments
  • Foreign travel immunizations and consultation*
    [* Travel immunizations are by appointment only.]

Immunization Clinic hours are:
8:00 AM – 12:00 noon [Patients may check-in until 11:00 am] 
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM[Patients may check-in until 4:00 PM] 

Wednesday  1:00 PM – 5:00PM[Patients may check-in until 4:00 PM] 

Wednesday: CLOSED -8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

Friday:  CLOSED
