The mission of the Roanoke City Health Department is to promote a state of optimum health for all citizens of Roanoke City through community assessment, public policy development and assurance of equal access to and excellence in health services.

Our clinic services are provided based on family income and a sliding fee scale and/or at no cost to our customers. Call for an appointment or clinic times.

Immunizations – Tuesdays by Appointment Only

STD – Walk In Clinics

These clinics are limited to the first 10 patients on a first come, first serve basis.
Mondays: 1:30PM Walk-In; first 10 served; First come, First serve
Wednesdays: 12:30PM Walk-In; first 10 served; First come, First serve

STD – Appointments

Tuesdays:  1:00PM – 3:30PM
Thursdays:  All day

Family Planning – By Appointment Only

• Birth control methods
• STD testing available
• Cervical Cancer Screening
• Pregnancy Testing – By Appointment Only - Tuesdays

Ryan White/ADAP Eligibility– By Appointment Only

Refugee Clinic – By Appointment Only
