How is my child’s immunization record and information protected?
- The Code of Virginia requires that your child’s record be kept confidential in VIIS.
- ONLY Authorized users can access VIIS
- Authorized users must sign an agreement and follow strict confidentiality and security policies.
Information will not be shared with any other people or any other agency, the records are stored in a safe and secure location.
